This is a short but great video of the flamingoes in Alikes and Lake Korission last month.

Thanks for posting that Trisa. I was in St Georges South last week and walked along to the Korisson Lake.

I didn't get close enough to see the flamingoes properly so this video clip is perfect. Wished I'd tried to get a bit nearer now, my photos are not very impressive   :-[

For anyone that didn't see them, ... Last year Trisa and I went down to Alikes and photographed the flamingoes and a variety of other birds. I posted a link to my album of these shots. I have repeated this link below for those who may not have been members at the time.

Apart from a lot of images of Flamingoes, there are images of Black-Winged Stilts, Ringed Plovers, a Kentish Plover, Little Egret, Little Terns, Curlew Sandpipers and finally a Dalmation Algyroides lizard that joined us for lunch at Boukari!

The album is available here http://min.us/mBvfoPNqp/1 (I hope!) You may need to use the magnification facility to view the images at their best. Be aware that all of these shots were taken with a long lens and all were hand held.

Photographers are violent people. First they frame you, then they shoot you, then they hang you on the wall.
