I put a powder down around the dog pens. It was called Herpa .... something or other! If you go into any Zootrofes and tell them what you want they will have more than one, I am sure.

As an aside, Our 11 year old cat Adonis brought his first snake in this spring  today ;D. Before anyone asks what sort it was, I can tell you that it was a dead one!

I have a feeling it is sulphur based but could be wrong.

I have just found the remains of the deterrent that I used. It is called Protecta Snake Repulsive. It is in granular form and contains 1.76% Methyl NoNyl Ketone and 98.24% Βοηθητικές Ουσιές which translates as 'auxiliary substances'!

HTH

Interesting. That, according to the interweb, is the active ingredient in Get Off My Garden, a cat and dog repellent used in parks and allotments and widely agreed to not work very well. How do your dogs react to it, if you put it around their pens?

They ignore it!
Think before you speak! If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all.

I should point out that they are inside and the repellent is outside! They have no choice.
