Wildflowers of Corfu
« on: June 19, 2016, 11:59:31 AM »
Despite several consulting several field guides I am stuck on identifying one or two species photographed during May 2016 and am looking contact an experienced Corfu botanist.
I am studying Greek but apologise for any errors in my Greek text:
Παρά τις αρκετές διαβουλεύσεις με διάφορους οδηγούς τομέα είμαι κολλημένος για τον εντοπισμό ενός ή δύο ειδών φωτογραφήθηκε κατά το μήνα Μάιο 2016 και ψάχνω επαφή ένας έμπειρος Κέρκυρα βοτανολόγος .

It's not often that I recommend Facebook but if you join the 'Corfu Flora and Fauna' group, There are many helpful people there.

Another source that I have used is the Natural History Museum website at http://www.nhm.ac.uk/natureplus/index.jspa. I have found them helpful in identifying various bugs and fungii. HTH
Photographers are violent people. First they frame you, then they shoot you, then they hang you on the wall.

I thought of that group but they are specifically for cultivated plants.

Corfu Gardens is more for cultivated plants however their sister group as Bob says, Corfu Flora and Fauna is where Joy welcomes questions on the wild flowers and fauna in Corfu.
There are experts on both in this group.
