Been told that Katerina has moved Binelikia from Petelia to Corfu town.
Shame but somewhere else to visit I guess.

Interesting because she asked me to like a place in Corfu Town on Facebook. I will check it out. Her eldest son was training as a chef as I recall.

It's correct. She has confirmed on Facebook to my Wife and it is in the old port. Feel a bit sad to see the old place go but progress I suppose. Definitely one on our list for August.

Rear in mind that Katerina's 'old place' was actually her home - the Village Kafeneio. It wasn't really a taverna per se. I didn't really like it when it was in Acharavi where Ixnilatis is now. Her original place on the sea front was superb though. I look forward to trying  the new place.

So are there any restaurants anybody wants to try ? Mine would be pom de or (spelling) and Gabriells steps again spelling. I have never met anyone who has eaten at the latter and B and T might be a bit close to home to say ?

I think that you may be talking about Pomo D'oro in Skaramaga Square, Corfu Town.  - Our favourite restaurant. Modern Greek cuisine. Not cheap and might not be everyone's cup of tea but we love it. It is one of those restaurants that don't do 'house wine'.

Gabriel's Steps in Old Peritheia is another favourite. We have been friends with the family for a long while. Sadly Theodoros died on New Year's day. It's very rustic. Kostas is a very good grill chef and Lola's Tzatziki will blow your head off! You need to like garlic!
