Hi girls (and boys), just a wee update, have had another operation on my shoulder, sawn a bit of my collarbone off, even if it reduces the pain slightly, i'll be over the moon.
so, after a rotten winter I can look forward to a better spring and summer.
a confession to make........Tony has booked us two weeks in western crete, staying in a village called vafes (two cafenions and one shop, bliss)
Anyway, happy easter to all you lovely people over there xx

Karen,

Have a pain free break and enjoy Crete. We'll forgive Tony's treason as he was surely thinking of you! ;D Keep in touch.

Maggy, I'm not sure where you are at the moment but I understand that the UK is set for some good weather. It reached over 24C on my way to the airport today.

Only one guess allowed Bob ,,think you would be correct if I mention rain thunder lightening and very cold nights :)

I'm recovering from a few surprises that Hungarians dumped on us  by upping their price once they had completed the job in hand,,,nuff'n said!
That's a story for another day ,,,,or maybe not !

The six side plates that slid off a shelf and smashed on the kitchen floor!

The white plastic chair that was not doubled up for strength in the kitchen,,,legs splayed when I sat on it!
Knew what it felt like to be an insect that couldn't get up after landing on its back,,,nothing broken but a huge coggy on the back of my head after it hit the washing machine door ,plus bleeding knees from the sand like grains not swept up properly from the plates that had minds of their own!

Let's hope that the things that happen in "threes' has past ,,,if not I'm orffffffff ! :)

Our own fault Baywatcher for judging people by our own honest standards!
The price soon dropped once they saw it was crutches at dawn !
A call to the police,,,,on a phone that had no life in it!
And Mr M starting  to rip down the work they had done ,,saying take it away we don't want it!

Another fine mess ,,,,last night we attended a panayeri in the village, parking hard to come by,,,seats even more thin on the ground,a neighbour brought from her house a chair for me to sit on,,,happy to sit and watch with my pot of donuts!
Until 7 this morning ,,,when we heard a woman's voice outside of our house shouting Margarita Margarita,,,Mr M opened  the bedroom window like a shot,,,it was the lady who gave me the chair!

She was then saying your car your car!
Yes we'd caused a riot in an empty house once again,,,our car ,thinking it would not be an obstruction was left in its parked position!
We forgot about the 7 0clock bus!! :)

We came back to the UK last night. I had a clinic today and saw lots of lovely people but it was no consolation for leaving my idea of heaven. As we chugged as slowly as I could make the car travel, down through Loutses I had tears rolling down my face (don't tell nic, I don't think she noticed). I was a bit surprised by the emotion, I wondered if it may be the growing distance between me and the only tory I would ever talk too, but realised it was the fact I was leaving my peace behind. We'll be back in five weeks and five days, see you soon Loutses.
