Do I detect tones of "tetchyness" on some posts  :o  ::)

Maybe .....but some may call it being sensible.

Nah! You're probably right!  ;D

« Reply #2657 on: August 31, 2016, 12:17:09 PM »
Arrived back at the house last night at around 9-30 after eating out in the cooler night air!
Only nibbled at my food!
Had a small bottles of water and one glass of red wine!
Sat on our patio in the cold (sheer heaven )
Removed what little makeup I had on while having a night cap of a small sambuca on ice,,I was informed there was a film starting at 10 o'clock,,ok I'll give it ten minutes ,see if it grabs me !

The film was naff in my opinion !

At 10-25 I left Mr M watching his film, took a bottle of water from the fridge and negotiated the outside staircase, fumbled with the key trying to find the lock ,,my bag slung over my shoulder, leaning on one crutch and a large bottle of water tucked under my arm!
At last ,in the bedroom ,air con on sleep mode ,,woken by a text message ,Mr M checking on me ,it was only 10 -45!!

Are most people  going out to eat at that time?
Do I have a faulty body clock?
Orrr it's a sign of getting old ?? :)

Just this once you might be correct Aceman ;)

Doris Day immediately came to mind as to why this wind now being called a storm ,,,is the wind named after Doris Day? ,,she sings about how she just blew in from the Windy City, from her great film Calamatity Jane  :)

Well if everyone chooses to follow the latest health advice and eats 10 pieces of fruit or veg a day, there could be plenty of perpetual windy cities!  ;D ;D

Well ! It really looks as if Doris has her knickers in a twist,,,she's now projecting sleet!
Either she's confused or the weather forecasters are ???

We can come n go as we please !
That includes not returning to the uk this week as scheduled ,instead we've added another two weeks to our stay by changing our flights ,,,,surprise surprise the cost of doing that didn't cost n arm n a leg   ;)

Hubby thinks that I agreed to stay longer to avoid packing ,cleaning house and changing and washing bedding  ???
He knows me soooo well  :-[
