I forgot to share it.It's on wordpress and it's free so it doesn't show up on google. I'm starting something with blogger but I'm not sure yet. I'm kind of in between.
take a look now and let me know.

Morning!

You have asked for comments so here are mine! The recipe is great!

I am not sure about the combination of white text on a comparatively light background for the introduction. There are also a few typos in the introduction - some gaps between sentences are missing.

The introduction of photos of places that you have obviously found inspirational is nice BUT when you click upon them to see the full sized image, the full sized image is way too large! I can see the entire image on my 22 inch screen but on my widescreen laptop, you have to scroll to see the picture. I would suggest reducing the image down to something like 800 x 600 or 1024 x 768 at the most. They do however load quite quickly so I guess that you have probably reduced the file size.

At the end of the day, it is your personal blog and your choice!

How do you see this progressing? I am not familiar with blogger so I don't know what its capabilities are. Will each entry (presumably an individual recipe) continue on the same page or will they have separate pages? Will they be archived?

That is just a few immediate observations.

Bob

Thanks Bob,

My husband is very tech savvy and that's the first thing he said make the pictures smaller. THANKS.
This is my first attempt at  a full blog. Blogger is quite difficult and I'm not very tech savvy.I'm social media savvy and know how to network very well. It will take time and I'm youtubing a lot ( if you allow this term. ) If you open up my blog today it's different again, I would say  it's very vibrant. My blog is personal but I do need guidance so all that you have suggested does help. Going back to my self tutoring session with you tube and FB groups :) THANKS agian :)))))  :D :D

Oooo! I like the background!

The Intro is much clearer and easier to read.

Beneath the intro, there is some writing in a sort of orange colour. This is very difficult to read as is your email address and the dates of each blog entry. I don't know whether Blogger permits you to change this.

Again. I don't know whether Blogger allows this, but if you want readers to contact you, you may find it better to use a contact form rather than displaying your email address 'in the wild'! By displaying your email address, you are asking for it to get 'harvested' by spambots which will result in you possibly being inundated with spam. There are ways of coding your email address to help prevent this if you really want it displayed. Again, I am unfamiliar with Blogger and this may not be possible. You may just want to rely upon the comments as I see that this does have some form of spam protection.

All the best!

Bob

Thanks Bob sooo much. I'm still figuring out the email and the contact form. I've seen contact forms on blogger I just don't know if they have a self hosted domain. Thank God for youtube  ;D :) :) Once again thanks.

Your welcome!

Personally, I prefer Wordpress but not the version that is hosted by Wordpress themselves. That is too restrictive. I host my domains myself. I used to use Drupal but found that too difficult when it came to handling images. (My sites tend to be image intensive.) You can see one of my sites at www.loutses.com.

BTW Should you ever decide to host your own website, I can help you out with webspace but you would have to pay for your own domain name!

Although less decorative than its last incantation, it is very much clearer and easier to navigate.

All the menu tabs work fine and although I haven't tried them all, I suspect that the items in the side menu are all working too!

Just a thought. Do you need to enable comments on every page? Eg I would not think it necessary on such things as 'Disclosure Policy' I work on the theory that I give spammers as little opportunity as possible!

From the comments posted, it looks like a lot of people think you are doing something right!  ;D

Our seedless grape crop failed this year but I will remember the recipe for spoon sweets for next year!

The way that you have set this spoon sweet recipe out, I don't know how anyone could go wrong with it!

With the text and the photos at every step it is so clear and concise.

That is exactly how I like a recipe to look!
Think before you speak! If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all.

Thank you for the feed back back !!Made me so happy :)
@Bob, it's a rule of thumb to have a disclosure policy when you have affiliate links on your blog.I

You just got my energy flowing, I still haven't posted my Frappe post, I have so many things to post about.

I appreciate that. My point was do you need to invite comments on that page? Anywhere that Spammers can post should be avoided unless absolutely necessary. I was only using the 'Disclosure Policy' page as an example.

Keep up the good work! As Trisa said, the addition of step by step pictures is really good.
