Not a work of fiction

The best laid plans and all that jazz!

The results of this virus is taking its toll
Hereís a few more examples of the havoc being reeked in our house alone !

Iím not belittling the serious effect itís caused to so many throughout the world !

Iíll start with our kitchen,,,
After decades of having the kitchen we installed when we moved into this house,,if you remember M F I you might also remember casualty corner?
Our kitchen came from that company and that corner !
After 40 years mr m persuaded me to have a new kitchen ,,

After much debate ,I decided I wanted a basic kitchen ,not an all singing and dancing one,,after weeks of searching we found one we both thought was ok,,ish

The kitchen shop had a person who installed the units ,,and tiled walls and floors too !
Bearing that person in mind ,,we found two more tilers ,that didnít charge as much as number one tiler

Mr rearing to get stuck in removed the wall tiles ,even took them to the tip!
He painted the ceiling ,doors and anything else that didnít move !

If youíve seen the tv programme hoarders ,,remember people couldnít get into the house because of stuff
Ours isnít that bad yet,,but in our hall is a new cooker ,still in its crate, waiting to be connected !

Ready to order the new kitchen,,,,only to be told that the factory that makes the units, had to close because of the virus,!
The tiler too cancelled ,Same  reason near enough !

I took a phone message one day for Mr M,it was the roller garage fitter ? Saying factory wasnít working because of the virus ,,
I knew nothing about that plan ,,phew

Iím not that bothered ,really !

Mr M cut my hair in a fashion,he used the dog shears,,not too bad for a first attempt!

Iíve got swim suit ,I got it from the man in the market,,he lets me bring items home to try,if suitable  I go and pay him if not itís retuned!

I think Iíll have to pay him for it ,because of lock down I cant return it ,,,Iíve not even tried it on  yet,

As for our flights in May June and September ,Iím hoping weíll get to go ,even if itís a shorter duration ?

Why. Do I find myself looking at static caravans for sale ?
Is it  dya think that a change is as good as a rest ?
Itís the same old same old ,,the caravans canít be viewed yet untitled corona virus is done n dusted?

My dad used to say to me ,if he thought I was complaining ,Ē,be thankful that you wake up in the morning our Margaret ď

Believe me I am thankful xxx
