500g Plain Flour
2tsp Bicarbonate of Soda
1tsp Salt
150g strong grated Cheese
75g chopped Walnuts
300g Greek Yogurt
125ml Milk
Oven temp 230c/210c Fan Oven
Mix all dry ingredients then add yogurt and enough milk to make a soft, slightly sticky dough.
Tip onto floured surface and form a flat ball about 20cm across, place on baking tray and cut a cross on the top. Bake for 30/40 mins until risen and cooked. It should sound hollow when you tap it.
Delicious with soups and freezes well.
