Yannis Parios
« on: March 06, 2012, 03:58:40 PM »
for easy listening, great for the car, his cds are excellent- you may not think that you know his songs but once they start playing you will recognise them- he is getting on a bit now, but his music is great.  Watch out for offers- for the last three weeks one of the Sunday papers has been giving away a cd of his, plus a dvd of a John Wayne film every week- and one week they threw in a glossy magazine too!

Iíve been a YP fan for many years, I seem to have most of his albums and a couple of videos (sorry, DVDs) In my opinion, his 70s and 80s songs were the best, but thatís only my opinion. Went to see him at the Royal Albert Hall a few years ago, brilliant.

Hi Jan and Mike - this sounds really interesting but have tried to find Yiannis on itunes and can only find one track co-sung with another artist, do you have the names of any particular CD's,/DVD's??

Thanks Mike - I don't know why I didn't try Amazon, I am a bit Itunes obsessed! I have just downloaded 'Tipseis' so have got something to be going on with.

Kalimera, ti kaneis sung by Yiannis Parios is one of my most favourite songs ever and I often play it when I get up in the morning.   I listen to it whilst reading the newspapers and drinking my coffee - always uplifts me and you can get it on Youtube.
