The South Side of Corfu
« on: July 12, 2013, 09:27:04 AM »
Where do I start  ??? The beginning I suppose  ::)

Once upon a time there was this mad Couple (Viv & Mr Viv) who decided they needed to be in Corfu and really needed to be in Benitses.  So we found ourselves at Le Mirage Hotel arrived late at night to find that Le Mirage had done a little updating. A nice Bar to sit and have that last one for the road before Bed and also now do Barbecue's of an evening as well - perfect  ;D ;D ;D

Next morning came down for Breakfast lots of hugs and greetings with all the family  :-* then surprise - last September Mr Viv and I had just collapsed on the same two sunbeds everyday under the palm tree by the swimming pool as we were shattered. They had now upgraded our Sunbeds with mattresses and an Umbrella (just them two sun loungers had mattresses  :o) and a table to put our Water and Coffee's on  8) both Kostas and Evie stood there beaming at us they thought it was great fun and next year there will be a plaque on the Palm Tree with our names on it  :o ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
;D.  They did make us laugh.  So Siga Siga became the order of the day as each morning our mattresses were put out on our Sunloungers and every night they put them back inside so no one else would take them. That is what I call first class service  8).

Laurence (Kostas Son) and Angelo who looked after the bar through the Day were great fun and they fussed over us everyday.  Then there was Philipos and Nick who used to come in and they sat everyday and spoke with us.  Them 4 young Lads are a Credit to the Younger Generation - I love them all to bits and would have been proud to say anyone of them was my Son  :-*

Laurence and Angelo were the comedy team of the four  ::) ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
Nick was the helpful one any questions we asked him, he could come back with the answers - he worked next door in the Car Rental Place and is a very charming young man. I must say if you are in Benitses and have questions to ask about anything then Nick is the person to talk to.
Philipos (Kostas Nephew) the deep thinker who had many serious conversations with Mr Viv and I have to say Mr Viv thoroughly enjoyed their talks.

I will come back with more later.  I am just giving you the outline of the people that we have come to love  :-*

Forgiveness is a funny thing. It warms the heart and cools the sting.

What a great idea to first let us know about the people you have met Viv!

Now we know the characters I'm really looking forward to the rest of the story! ;D ;D 8) 8) 8)
Think before you speak! If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all.
