A Memorable Morning
« on: April 09, 2012, 11:29:56 PM »
This morning I found myself on my own for a few hours, so I got down and dirty with David Cassidy and still had time to sway steamily with Dimitris Mitropanos :P :P!.

OK, I was down on my knees cleaning out the kitchen cupboards singing along to my David Cassidy cd ( Now & Then) has all his hit singles and brings back memories of teenage crushes and unrequited love :'( :'(.

Then, I did the ironing listening to Dimitris Mitropanos Greatest hits cd, bringing back memories of the best EVER impromptu party with a local family in Crete a few years ago :P :P!.

Its not often that I get to listen to my music at full blast, and it sure makes the housework that little bit more enjoyable!

Any suggestions for when I'm cleaning the bedroom tomorrow ;D ;D?.

Maybe Jackie for the Housework (washes her mouth out with soap for using rude words on site  :-X)

You could try from that era The Osmonds or ABBA - do a bit of Dancing Queen around the Bedroom  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

I have to keep saying it don't I? H*******K is a naughty word!!!! Although, I have to say, ABBA is the best if it has come to the stage where you really must do some! ::) ::)

I enjoyed your post Jackie, you achieved the near impossible and made doing housework sound like fun!

Have you read I Think I Love You by Alison Pearson? Though not a DC fan myself (my teen crush music is just a tad older  :-X ;) I really enjoyed it.

Agree ABBA goes well with housework if one must. Personally I put on disco if, for example, company is coming soon   :o  and I have to get some done in a hurry. In the disco era I had a part-time job in a bar and somehow disco helps resurrect the energy I had then for changing kegs and scrubbing floors just long enough for me to make the place presentable!

Hi Dasia!

No, I haven't read " I think I love you ", so thanks for bringing it to my attention :). I do not possess any Abba cd's, and since my little fling with domesticity has now flown out the door, the agenda for tonight is

Bathtime with Barry Manilow
   followed by

Pampering with Paul Young :-* :-*.

Tully and Ribena,
